Hate Crime Awareness Week

Hate Crime Awareness Week is taking place on Monday 14 October until Friday 18 October 2024.

There will be a week-long programme of online webinars and face-to-face engagement events, offered across York and North Yorkshire as part of Hate Crime Awareness Week.

The sessions offer a valuable opportunity for those who want to learn more about hate crime and how it can impact on our communities; covering topics including:

• disability
• misogyny
• cultural and interfaith awareness
• gender identity

The sessions have been designed to stimulate discussion, spark innovation and share best practice.

Each session will be delivered by inspirational and motivational speakers, all of whom are experts in their field.
